Celebrating Diversity and Joy

At Vidhyadaan Foundation, our Christmas Celebration is a cherished event that brings joy and cultural awareness to the children from Hindu slums. While many of them initially associate Christmas solely with Santa Claus, gifts, and chocolates, we take this opportunity to teach them about the true significance of Christmas for Christians, the life of Jesus Christ, and the essence of the holiday.

Our VD's Venture is transformed into a festive wonderland with balloons, ribbons, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, and faux snow. The event is filled with fun activities, including games led by a cheerful clown, mesmerizing performances by magicians, and a lively dance party. A highlight of the celebration is one of our dedicated volunteers dressing up as Santa Claus, bringing immense joy and entertainment to the students.

For the past ten years, this event has been a source of great excitement not only for our students but for the entire slum community. The anticipation and enthusiasm in their eyes are truly heartwarming, making this event a memorable and impactful part of our annual calendar.
